HELLO FAMILY
Well not much has changed from the last week but yesterday I did give a ten minute talk in church IN SPANISH, Ya it was not as bad as I thought. That is because the Spirit was so strong. My companion also had to speak . We were both very nervous and I was sweating so bad ha ha. Not really, but my face was red and everyone had to ask why I was so red. oh well I get it all the time ,but it’s not a sun burn red, I thinks it’s just because I’m always nervous. But my name is Big RED all the missionaries call me that. This week was good we found more people to teach and we put dates for them to be baptized and they accepted in the first lesson. But it’s hard to tell if they really want to after the first lesson, but we have an appointment to go back to visit, so we just have to be patient with them. We are in the process of a marriage just waiting for the exams, but it will be soon. The only bad thing is the dad is not interested in getting baptized after, but the mom will. It is the familly rosas we baptized two of the boys francisco and alexandro. Last week was very interesting we had a really good lesson with a less active member ana maria. She is so crazy and way fun to be around. She has a brother francisco that lives in panama the city and is visiting her for 6 months. Anyway, we began to teach him and he was very emotional. He told us about his past and many addictions he had and many problems he had and he told us that he wants to change so we will be baptizing him hopefully the end of January. He needs to go through the repentance process which he is willling to do. The lord promises us many blessings but when we do not what he says we have no promise. Be willing and worthy to continue on the lords path to happiness, sometimes we have to have little trials and most the time we have major trials, but they are for a reason and that is when we have to put our trust in the lord and have the faith to be strong through the trials he gives us. But I know without the faith we cannot overcome our weaknesses. My weakness is speaking Spanish right now and I know for myself it’s not easy. Many times people laugh but this week I had to put my trust in the lord to be able to speak in sacrament. It was not easy but I know the lord helped me Sunday. I did not read my talk word for word. There are many other trials but as we put out faith in the lord he will work the miracles in us. I know we can do all things if we put our faith toward him. love you always and pray for every single one of you every day and night. Strive to be a better person and be willing to serve others this week. Have a better week day month le quiero hermana ericson
